The Florida Inland Navigation District has issued the invitation below for a public hearing on the proposed dredging of the Dania Cut-off Canal and Intracoastal Waterway. The invitation is below for your consideration.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Board of Commissioners of the Florida Inland Navigation District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2007

PLACE: The City of Dania Beach - First Floor Conference Room, Dania Beach City Hall,
100 W. Dania Beach Blvd., Dania Beach, Broward County, Florida.

PURPOSE: To discuss the proposed deepening of the Dania Cut Off Canal from Port Everglades to U.S. 1 and the Intracoastal Waterway from Port Everglades north to the Middle River.

561-627-3386 for more information. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, they will need a record of the proceeding, and for such purposes, they may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. Any person requiring a special accommodation at this meeting because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the District prior to the meeting.
