The Fort Lauderdale Boat Show is Back!

The Big Show is back. Fort Lauderdale is gearing up to welcome the 48th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. From October 25-29, 2007 the Intracoastal Waterway will play host to the marine world’s best with close to $2 billion worth of superyachts, boats, marine accessories, electronics, and more. An impressive, all-inclusive collection of marine products and services …featured on land and in water…. will be offered throughout six awe-inspiring sites in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Prepare for your visit with our dock-to-dock tour of the show’s six-sites:

Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Hall of Fame Marina & Las Olas Marina There is something for everyone at these three connected sites: • BAHIA MAR: Multi-Million Dollar Superyachts to Inflatables; Marine Electronics and Accessories; Live Entertainment

Extravagant Superyachts Showcase – Spectacular superyachts (yachts 80-feet and over) from the world’s most esteemed builders create a breathtaking waterfront display. Among the vast array of multi-million dollar superyachts will be debuts of the 157’ from Christensen Shipyards, the 141’ from Ferretti Group, the 116’ from Azimut, and many more.

The Yacht Builders & Designers Tent – Design meets desire when the industry’s top yacht builders and designers join under this 60,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned tent to showcase the newest and most innovative advances in form and style. Show attendees will find themselves surrounded by the finest in custom superyacht engineering, designing, and decorating. Captivating displays from exotic residential and resort island destinations will also be featured here.

The International Yacht Builders Pavilion –The place to see what the rest of the world is building. From necessities to luxuries, we spanned the globe to bring in the world’s most talented and influential manufacturers and shipyards to present the most up-to-date and extravagant options and amenities for yacht building. A broad range of countries are represented including the Italy, New Zealand, Japan, Germany, France, United States and more, inside the immense 15,000 sq. ft. pavilion.

Powerful Engines – Power at your fingertips. Select from the newest engines, generators and air conditioners for small boats, mid-size cruisers and superyachts from every leading manufacturer worldwide.

Extraordinary Accessories Tents –An encompassing array of marine accessories worldwide, from the classics to the newest trends, from high-tech to high style are on display throughout seven expansive tents. Find the newest designs, innovations and offerings in marine electronics, fishing equipment, personal watercraft accessories, nautical clothing, jewelry, and more. World-leading finance and insurance companies will also be represented.

Boats On Land – Check out hundreds of trailerable boats, inflatables and personal watercraft that cover the land area.

Boats In Water – It is a breeze to find the boat of your dreams at the Bahia Mar water sites. The Bahia Mar Face Dock features a gorgeous display of superyachts from 80- to 180-feet. Bahia Mar North Side includes powerboats, sportfishers, family cruisers, high-performance boats, brokerage boats and a more superyachts. Bahia Mar South Side hosts motoryachts, picnic boats, trawlers, express cruisers, and more sportfishers, brokerage yachts and several superyachts.

Beyond Boats – While walking the docks, make sure to visit the International Food Garden and floating cocktail barges. Enjoy scrumptious food, live musical entertainment and swimsuit fashion shows.

• HALL OF FAME MARINA: For Power On The Water Or On The Road – Brokerage Boats and The Exotic Car Showcase

The most sought-after brokerage yachts are on display at these Floating Docks as you head north from Bahia Mar F Dock. Also, get a premier look at hot new models of speed and style at the Exotic Car Showcase, located across from the boats.

• LAS OLAS MARINA: Where The Cats Are – Catamarans and Brokerage Boats Galore

Just a short walk northward from Hall of Fame Marina along the floating sidewalk – or a quick ride on the water shuttle line – will lead you to Cats On Las Olas. This popular catamaran-only section features power and sail “cats” from 37- to 80-feet. Cats on display at this site include vessels from The Catamaran Company, Manta Catamarans, and World Cat among many others. The Las Olas Marina also displays a large selection of brokerage boats in all sizes from top builders and brokers in the industry.

The Fort Lauderdale Grande Hotel & Yacht Club and Pier 66 Marina …The Queen’s Domain The Queen of the Show, plus motor and sailing yachts for brokerage, line these sites located across from each other on the Intercoastal Waterway, adjacent to the 17th Street Causeway Bridge. Pier 66 boasts a wide selection of vessels, while the Fort Lauderdale Grande is home to the “Queen of the Show,” which is making her world debut, a 223’ beauty from Lurssen called Kismet.

Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.… Bring The Family For Fishing & Fun 1st Floor – The main floor of the convention center becomes a land-based marina with the world’s best selection of fishing boats, family cruisers, runabouts, flats boats, center consoles, jet boats, engines, fishing equipment and accessories. Marine seminars and the Kids’ Fishing Village are also family fun attractions.

2nd Floor – Enjoy bird’s eye view of the show, and indulge on delicious food from the freshly prepared buffet on the second floor lounge.

3rd Floor – One stop shopping for accessories of all kinds including jewelry, nautical clothes and shoes, marine artwork, décor and more.

Sailfish Pavilion – Located just outside of the main entrance to the convention center, this area will feature even more runabouts, trailers, personal watercraft, inflatable boats, high-performance boats, center consoles, cuddy cabins, family cruisers and accessories.

Tickets are available from the box offices located at the entrances of 4 sites -- Bahia Mar, Broward County Convention Center, Hall of Fame Marina, and the Las Olas Marina. Or, avoid the lines and purchase tickets through our website, print them out and present at the gate.
